(New Bryford - appearing at Blackburn Exhibition in two days time......)

Next - a smaller (much smaller than above) goods shed.

Cheers,

There are some cows in the bottom field in this photo. Just as well as I seem to have missed the train out of the shot, but that's how real rural railways are - lots of time with no trains.

Any sheep around?

Usually I wouldn't put in such a fuzzy old photo, but as the precedent has been set by the last one, here is one with horses pulling carts. They are near the right-hand end, in case the fuzz is too great!

Shall we leave the animal world and head on to the road - any form of steam road vehicle - roller, traction engine, steam lorry or van?

A PG Models Leyland DAF DROPS wagon:

Sticking with the vehicle theme, does anyone have a vehicle on their layout with caterpillar tracks? (e.g. bulldozer, tractor, tank etc).

Steven B.

Did PG take over from Inkpen? The type of solid moulding looks very similar.

Now for a tracked vehicle on solid ground.

I don't know of Inkpen (Google just returns lots of pictures of pens with ink in them!).  I believe PG Models master and cast (in Pewter) all their own models (in 1:152 scale). They're really nicely done and cover a good range of post 1970s British army vehicles.

Inkpen were around in the 1980s (I think - or possibly earlier) They produced a range of ready-painted solid resin 1/72 British army vehicles. I believe that they were originally produced as identification training aids for the army. I had a whole set of the range at one time. When I looked today I only found these two MKs. You can see why I thought they were like your models, although I hadn't realised that yours were 1/152nd.

(NB these are not in answer to the request for non-tracked vehicles, as they have never been used on a layout. They are from my military modelling phase, when I had no layout and did no railway modelling.)
