Aldgate Box Boy
Hi All, Power Station almost finished - obviously need to embed it in the ground but that will have to wait until the other building are in place. I've done a lot of brick detailing and added a down pipe and lamps, which will eventually work. cheers Tim
Aldgate Box Boy
Hi all, I've begun work on the Engineering Shop for the brewery. It is a relatively small two floor building. Ground floor houses the machine shop. The two photos show some of the equipment including two drills. The one on the left is a Hardy's Hobbies 3D printed one - good but I found most of the levers came off in detaching it from its base/ support. The one on the right is one I built from scratch yesterday. Not finished nor painted but I really enjoyed the challenge.. Cheers Tim 6

Aldgate Box Boy
I began a new grain wagon over Xmas. It's from the M&M range and came out a year or so ago. I can't find them now. This is my first non Big Jim brass kit. The style of instructions take some getting used to but it's going together OK so far. Aldgate Box Boy
Hi All, some more progress on the grain wagon. The kit is tab based which make me very cautious about cutting things from the fret. The roof took some shaping as did the side strips. Aldgate Box Boy
Hi All, more progress on the grain van. I've said it before I always think I need to do one to practice then do a second after I've learnt. It's a very interesting kit, I don't think it is complicated but not for the absolute beginner cheers Tim 10
Aldgate Box Boy
Southern Visitors My friend Sean came around yesterday with his 2 Hal and 2 Bil. They are big compared to all my stock - good luck with a 9 car HST! cheers Tim
Aldgate Box Boy
Hi all, quite a bit of progress with the grain van over the weekend, roof detail done and ladders and buffers. There were some roof detail which I cut out and prepared but they were so small I could hardly see them so I left them off. cheers Tim 8

Aldgate Box Boy
Hi all, I decided to top coat the van in Precision Paints Br freight grey - I have usually just kept with the Halfords rattle can grey. There is quite a difference. Next job is the transfers. Cheers Tim
