Must have been an expensive decision , as didn’t the “ power haul “ colours only come in a while back ?

Anyway didn’t like those much , too curly and soft for freight

As long ago as 2009 with  the first Class 70s...............

Cheers,

Mick

Wow, that long, time flies....

I think it’s a welcome addition as the only thing going for the sheds is they come in as many colours as a packet of refreshers

Looks like the orange is prone to fade. 3410 is an Ottawa Valleys Railink SD40-2 and 3012 is an ex-CN GP40-2. Looks like the Geep was painted long before the SD and has faded. Should help reduce the arguments over what shade of orange is correct for Freightliner when models start appearing. I shall attempt both these locos in their different shades. I understand Microscale have been forced to drop their G&W decal sheet owing to a disagreement over licence fees. Good thing I have a sheet in stock.... (CJL)

Sorry the photo is not great. High fences and full sidings meant this was the closest I could get - from my fourth floor hotel window. It's a mighty big blow-up, too.
