I then modified it a couple of times and also considered adding it to my 'main layout' that required a radical change in my 'Engine Shed'. Not happy with that so took it back to the then previous modification. When running it at home a club friend said that he liked it so to gain space sold it to him. My latest impression is that it was modified 'to pieces'. 2 1

For me, the next purchase will either be a Blue 56, or a 26 in Blue or Railfreight, but they will have to wait as I've just bought another Guitar, so I've spent all my cash until after the move, and I can put some more stuff on E-Bay, like the Blue 37 and 08, both with Paul Chetter Sound in OO, and a whole load of wagons. Here's an O Gauge 58 built from a kit, the picture was taken back in 2012. I must confess I am looking forward to my 56's later this year or early next probably. I think the new 47 will come first. A bone is outside of layout timespan but only just!. The one in your photos is pretty good. I also have a part built 56 from RJH but they need a lot of work to get them looking like yours. Another Hymek will join my fleet soon. I already had a blue version with small warning panels but a green one is one is on the way to increase my mid period fleet. The wife is getting one for my birthday. It was either that or a 33 but I have a kit for one of them which is pretty reasonable and I wanted a 33/1. I do hope your move comes off soon.

If I did it would have to be Railfreight or Trainload Coal.

I want to stick to Blue, but with the Railfreight 20 and 56, that is really as new as I want to stretch it, otherwise, before I know it, there'll be a fleet of 60's lined up and waiting for Sound, haha.
Popular Post Andrew P
Well todays Blast from the Past came after the House move to our present location in May 2014. Just 3 weeks after moving in I had a mild Stroke that put me out of action for a short while, and then I had TOPS built by Derby Sheds, and fitted out by my mate Lee, with me acting as Project Manager and General Dogs Body as I was unable to see strait and do any lifting etc. Once done I already had the idea of a Layout, and it was to be Bitton, just outside Bath. The Project taught me a lot, such as Planning, Building Points, and also the fact that I can't do Prototype Projects. Andrew P
I'm starting to get low on decent photos now, but I still have a few previously un seen, and here is 37183 and 08173 sitting in the early morning sunshine in Seven Mills Yard.

Don Thanks Don, I did enjoy the Planning. I did enjoy the Point Building. I didn't enjoy it when I had messages and post telling that this and that weren't quite as the Prototype, such as the Station Buildings when I'd already said I would be using the Hornby ones as they were very similar. Then I had some other issues that started to bug me, MOST of my own making. But thanks for your positive comments, much appreciated Don. 2

There was also the sausage factory, and a battalion of troops who kept popping up, as I recall. Mind you Bitton is quite local to where I grew up, and so introduced my to the world of APs railways. Something I will always be grateful for. Stay safe TONY 1
Andrew P
So, where are we at today for the Blast from the Past? Well Bitton has bitten the dust, so we have to move on I'll bypass Kingsley and Whittaker St, and also Swad Lane, as I never actually built that, I just bought it, and then Sold it, to guess who, Yes Peter BB.. Peter exhibited it until last year when he sold it. So the next real project was an up graded Bitton, in the form of Pencarne Junction, in 2016. With hindsight that was destined to be a really good Layout, but the Axe fell on HALF of it after a few Months.
