That's better, I couldn't get in before breakfast this morning, but I see there was an issue.

Anyway; the Sun is shining and 37183 is running around its Train in Bridge End Sidings at Seven Mills.

Andy, can I ask, how come the bridge sidings have become so overgrown?

Seems to me that there are so many working, in and out, as evidenced by

the daily pics, the grass wouldn't have had the chance to grow. Let alone

so profusely. And as for the sapling.

Mind you, I rather suspect I'd send everything that way, when I had the

camera out, as well.

And it's on page 81. A 37 and details of your layout compression to fit

the POD.

I'm still trying to recover from your "withdrawl" of the 40. Looked so good

in the yard. I could feel, and hear it from here!

All the best

I like 'em like that, too.

I was just wondering about the back-story.

In your 1st pic the sidings, in regular use, have virtually no weeds. On the left

where everything is quietly waiting tlc, weeds to challenge bridge sidings.

Just a brain teaser for you, whilst the POD warms up.

After the Fuel Pumps were removed the sidings were out of use for 3 years, and have just had a Point replaced at Dore End to re instate them.:good:

Sounds feasible?

Perhaps the weedkilling train doesn't get that way very often?

Probably too long for the Dore End Fiddle yard I suspect also!

What Andy therefore needs is an MPV but that is sourced from a kit!

Ha ha!

This could run and run!

Elf and Safety would be cited as a reason not to clear the weeds by hand so you are off the hook Andy!

Network Rail now have a company requirement that there should be no net loss of habitat or biodiversity on their land.

So for every swathe of tree felling they have to plant some more somewhere else!

I reckon you could represent the butterflies in 7mm scale - bigger ones could be nearly 2mm across...

Hi Andy, just seen you have a photo of the layout in this month BRM magazine. :good:

Cheers, Ade.

Thanks for pointing that out Ade.

I had an E-Mail from BRM a few weeks ago asking if they could use that Photo in a photographic competition, so I said yes, and they wanted a small write up.

Last week I got a nice E-Mail to say sorry, I hadn't won, so I never gave it another thought. Well chuffed.

O.K. Guys and Gals, I was asked by Jim McGreachy to do a Video showing how I make the Videos, so it is almost 30 minutes long, but I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.

Thoroughly enjoyed the “how to” video Andy. I look forward to the next video.

Thanks Andy, it's only when its broken down that I realised how much is actually involved.

Very good Mr P, I enjoyed that. Nice idea to let us have an insight into how you do your videos and editing.  I wouldn't have a  clue where to start so it was useful to me.

Really enjoyed the latest video update Andy I've often who you managed filming operation and talking all at once

Don't let Dee see it though as it will be taken as proof that a man can 'multi-task' :O

Don't worry Martin, I only multi task when I'm alone, same with talking to my self, at least I get a half sensible reply that way.:D

Glad you found it helpful Paul, it looks more complicated than it really is, and I think the Video made it look harder than it really is as well.
