Yes. MKL is an option independent of this.

Lokpilot 5 manual.

Ah OK, got that.

This is the answer I got from ESU when queried last year

”If you do not want to use the speed curve, you have to use the DCC - only version of the ESU V5 decoders. All ESU multiprotocol decoders of the V5 series use the speed curve.”

ESU tend to be a bit curt with their answers. 😁

Fair dos, Brian caught me out there. Can I still blame Warley fatigue??

Something may have just turned up at the warehouse....

Hope the pallet truck operator isn't the same one as Rapido...

Presumably why Fran went with "turned up" rather than "dropped off" which has taken on a whole new meaning since Rapido delivery drivers bad day!

We should expect them on our doorsteps tomorrow then.

We recommend the ESU lokpilot v5. We hope to have some ‘ready to install’ in stock shortly if it helps but any good 6 function decoder (ideally with stay alive support) will work well. All Of the integrated circuits to manage the pantographs are built into the PCB on board so the decoder doesn’t have to do anything clever.

I should also have asked what number of pins.

I notice the ESU lokpilot v5 seems to be available in in a number of sizes

 59610 LokPilot 5 DCC/MM/SX/M4, 8-pin NEM652

 59612 LokPilot 5 DCC/MM/SX/M4, PLUX22 NEM658

 59616 LokPilot 5 DCC/MM/SX/M4, 6-pin NEM651

 59619 LokPilot 5 DCC/MM/SX/M4, 21MTC NEM660

 59649 LokPilot 5 DCC/MM/SX/M4, 21MTC MKL

Thanks

Peter

Nothing wrong with being proactive!  He could have been the first person to order a loco off you guys.  And just look at the amount of us 'suckers' he's roped in since....

Maybe he has his ear to the ground.....A big Irish Fella walks around a loco with a tape measure and camera and the Tom-Tom drums start beating......

Your most famous phrase is 'This announcement is the worst kept secret........'  Maybe it started before you realised it did......

Supposedly Hornby Magazine have a review video of the Accurascale 92 according to their Facebook page, but unfortunately it is behind a pay wall (key model world subscription).

Bottom line. “It’s quite simply sublime”. 💯

Odd thing is the pictures in the magazine (which I will not copy here) look like the front windows look like they have shattered 😁 it’s a good effect but I think in the flesh they probably really look like the special strengthened tinted glass on the prototype.

Just the way the plastic panes photograph.

it actually looks to be a reflection of the light box used to photograph the model.

Actually, that may be the ultimate challenge - go and measure up a loco in the Margate 1:1 Collection.

Suppose with your little 'diddy' Acccurageezers, measuring gang someone is bound to take them in there.......You have corrupted the hobby.....

Those figures were possibly a bad idea, if they happen to get in the 'wrong hands' and used as voodoo dolls..... Only got yourselves to blame.....

...... If one of you wake up with a stinking headache and sticky bottom one morning it could be because someone stuck you to the top of a loco and hit it into a bridge. If you wake up and feel like you have been hit by a train, not been drinking, but have rope marks around your wrists and hadn't been up to anything kinky, then perhaps your voodoo was tied to a piece of flexi and a loco run over you. If you wake up soaking wet and smelling if pee (before aged 90).....you get the idea......

Suppose it could be worse.....

.... Tickle you 24/7 so you can never drink another Guinness without spilling it....

Sleep well.....

Still selling those figures?????

24/7 which sub class is that then ?

Unfortunately my cameraman suffered bad voodoo after visiting the Hornby stand, he left with a broken leg.
