The poor driver's been knocked out by that bloody great chunk of perspex that has just fallen in from the side window!!

The fitters attended from Shrewsbury, the secondman was dealt with using the first aid kit in the shunters' cabin and everyone then returned to their game of cards.

Not so railway-related, but still part of the overall scene.

The garage owner is confused by a delivery he thought he had cancelled, and a heated discussion about the price of petrol ( in 1960! ).

What an utterly charming scene, beautifully observed, and such a pleasing combination of tones.

Not being in Yorkshire you don't need the "Ow much!" sound file.

Crikey, that is good. I thought the gates were 'hand of god' operated with just working lights but I see they work electrically too. You've got to give us mortals some hints and tips now - pretty please? With a cherry on the top?

Cheers,

Philip

Very convincing, well observed scene and something that I like to include in layouts myself.
