Popular Post Ben B
 A fitter sees to a Britannia on the turntable, in the gloom and filth of a soon to be closed engine shed somewhere on the Southern Region.  (This is another shot from the project I did that ended up in Model Rail some years back. Again, I was more bothered with trying to make an atmospheric picture reminiscent of David Shepherds work, with a mish-mash of toys and scrap. The shed is a bit too tall I suppose with that smoke hood so far up, and the ash somewhat overscale on the floor -really, really wish I'd sieved it, it stands out too much in the photographs- but it was all a learning experience. In line with Mr.Shepherds belief in not getting too bogged down with the technical details of the locomotives, the Brit is a Mettoy "Robin Hood", a roughly 0-gauge toy, and a 2-4-0 with SR boxpok wheels to boot!) 27
