Evening all.

Thought that this move might be of interest to some. If it runs obviously. Courtesy of Realtime Trains.

4TC unit move, GBRf loco or locos unknown. But probs not Class 69s at the moment?

Just seen this mentioned on Facebook. The link I saw had the timing of departure from St Leonards at 11.20 (https://live.rail-record.co.uk/train.php/?c=K03630&d=2023-02-09&fbclid=IwAR05zWpA8MxoGD9_oY9g8VRfRZTxAOWTm0VMv5KLzGJv1E7SGq2Twcq_djY  ) , but the gen you have posted makes more sense with the light move first and only 73109 on site at St Leonards at present.

Are they being paid by the mile? That is a ridiculously long way around when you could just go along the coast and up via Botley in half the time!

So it looks like it didn’t run today. But light engines  73107 and 73119 ran from Eastleigh to StLeonards. Watch this space I guess.

66301 working Train 6Y26 Newhaven Marine Aggs GBRf to Woking Down Yard GBRf, passing Cooksbridge on the UP, 2 minutes down. The ex ‘Fastline’ and ex ‘DRS’ loco, now a GBRF loco, looks a bit boring in plain dirty dark blue. Maybe GBRf will give it one of their special liveries in the future….how about Rail Freight Grey with large logos or BR Intercity or BR Dutch Grey and Yellow?

Apologies to those who have already seen this in another Thread, but just a quick heads up in case it runs…

It is alleged that tomorrow, despite nothing showing up on various sites yet, that a Rail Operations Group loco (not sure what yet) will haul 313202, 313214 & 313217 for the last waltz., from Lovers Walk T&R.S.M.D to a destination rumoured to be Eastleigh, via Haywards Heath, Selhurst (stop for pathing), Clapham Junction, Willesden SW Sidings and then on to Eastleigh.

This is loco hauled because these three units are not fit to travel under their own power, all shoe gear and other equipment having been removed.

Scheduled…R.O.G. Light engine plus translator coach arrive at 09:00 and departs 10:24 ex Lovers Walk.

When their time comes, short of any major failures in the interim, the remainder of the class are possibly going to move under their own power via the West Coastway to Eastleigh.

Ive just checked and I still can’t see anything on either Real-time Trains or Railrecord…however due to my whereabouts today I haven’t any access to anything else…what this space..I’m sure that their are others with access to Trust etc on here…

Cheers

All three demics reported to be out in the open on Mont 3 Siding so probably visible from Brighton Station.

313207 attached to keep them pumped up until the 37 eventually bothers to get there.

Just checking and last time I was down there with ‘A proper train’ was almost 2 years ago when I did the regular Hither Green-Hastings-eastbourne-hither green circuit, also did Bognor and seaford the same week too, quite miss working these trains down there

Brighton's lighting is hideously bad, supposedly it was some artistic committee decision to try and create an old gaslight style ambience.

Makes an utter mess on the 377 DOO cameras though, it is like someone stuck Quality Street wrappers over the lenses.
