Which is why I suggested that people could say if they wanted to rather than that they should. I must admit that I am quite happy to admit my name. It is plastered over all sorts of things anyway and has been all through my career as a journalist. Jonathan David You can put me down by my real name, Kevin Redwood. For RMweb I used 'Rivercider' as I was recently redundant/semi-retired from the railway, so thought it better to be a bit discrete. Thirteen years later I'm ancient history! cheers Edited February 2, 2021 by Rivercider 1

Coach bogie
A couple of local boxes in the North East at Bedlington. So close the signalmen can wave at each other. Bedlington South with Bedlington North in the distance. Approval has just been given to uprate this freight only route to reinstate passenger services to Ashington and the five other remaining boxes (Newsham, Marcheys House, North Seaton, Winning and Freemans) on this route will all go. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/19032287.trains-34m-revival-50-year-old-north-east-railway-line/ Bedlington North Edited February 2, 2021 by Coach bogie

There are going to be a goodly number made in OO scale and at least one in 12 inch to the foot. I have the correct motor and arm. It's the backshade that is causing the problem. This is the best picture i have seen. Would it be possible to have a copy of this photo?

RMweb Premium Mike_Walker Posted February 4, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 4, 2021 (edited) A couple from heritage lines: Chinnor. This was originally at Mouldsworth near Chester, built in 1894 and closed in 1967. It was saved from destruction by enthusiast Ken Cruse and moved to his garden in Littlewick Green Berkshire, in 1975 where it controlled his 5" miniature railway for 32 years. After his death it was offered to the C&PRR and moved once more to Chinnor. The superb replica of Midsomer Norton South 'Box complete with adjacent greenhouse. A ground frame hut on the Manchester side of the station, not a signal box as such but that doesn't matter, it's a lovely structure.

RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted February 4, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 4, 2021 Just to update on the index. Thanks Kev. I have done page 10 and will do 11 and 12 tomorrow. Is it best then if one of works back from the end and the other from page 13? Your call. BTW Wickham Green too sent me a list of all his posted so far to integrate with our lists, so you can pass over those. We need to think how best to make it available to anyone accessing the thread. Jonathan OK, I will work backwards starting with page20 - which I will do tomorrow. I will do one page at a time. (You work faster than me!) Ideally, if it could be "pinned" to the first post, would be good but access and updating will be a problem. Maybe we should ask one of the Mods? great central
One or two taken today on my way back from Liverpool, apologies if any have already been posted but I don't recall seeing them. Several aren't particularly accessible for photos. I'm hoping I can arrange them in the order I passed them. First up Stockport Edgeley No2 Next Edgeley No1 I missed out Hazel Grove because it was pictured not long ago. So next up is New Mills south junction. Sorry it's a rather distant shot but when you're in the back of the train by the time you've seen what you want and the phone has got it's act together the subject is receding rapidly. I think we were doing about 60mph in this area. I think that's my upload limit for one post, so I'll add some more later.
