I don't suppose you could be of any assistance? Regards Ian As Wickham Green points out those photos were taken in 2005 - I imagine those will have been either restored and used by now or more likely horse-traded with the S&T group at another heritage line for something else that they needed to source.
Michael Hodgson
Westinghouse L fame at Needham signalbox on the former Stevington & Turvey Light Railway, built on the trackbed of a closed line in Bedfordshire, and itself closed approx 10 years ago following thefts of much of their equipment. The structure was essentially a garden shed. When they manned it, they normally removed shutters from the windows, though at the time I visited there was a blue tits' nest between the window and the shutter, so the shutter was left in place to avoid disturbing the nest (final photo).

The heavy roof sheeting that it supported lasted until the May 1965 when corrosion caused the partial collapse at the northern end (left hand here) of the main London-side girder span. There is a photo of the repair work taking place in the Model Railway Constructor 1965 August. The photo shows the box being held up by the Nine Elms crane, while it is being jacked up. Almost certainly questions were asked!

That collapse could have resulted in a very nasty pile-up involving several trainloads of rush hour commuters in slightly different circumstances. https://www.railwaysarchive.co.uk/documents/MoT_Clapham1965.pdf

Luckily we made this years visit back in January when the box was undergoing restoration. I visited Wylam box in 1978 and had a chat with the bobby. He told me he was approached by a railwayana collector who asked if he could buy the bell which hung outside the box , presumably to warn passengers of an approaching train. The bobby sold him it then various other pieces of hardware like the NER cast iron fire fender !
