Christine McVie, who played with Fleetwood Mac and wrote some of their most famous songs, has died aged 79, her family has said.

Hugely upset to hear this news, one of my all-time favourite vocalists, so many memories in every word.

For now, this seems the most appropriate.

With you on that one Andy. That had to be one of the greatest albums of all time.

But The songbirds keep singing like they know the score….

Several songs will always be in my playlist. Thank you Christine for sharing your wonderful talents with us all .

Rest in peace.

On my playlist a little earlier today.

I bought this as a single in 1969, I much preferred Christine singing it over Etta James, who is also a favourite of mine. I think Etta over egged it.
R.I.P. Christine, you were perfect.

Her talent was enormous and her generosity to fellow musicians made Fleetwood Mac. Watched the excellent documentary last night and learned a lot. The band was a truly magical combination in their glory days. Mick's genius was to keep them together for so long. RIP Songbird.
