Moderators Popular Post AY Mod Posted November 30, 2022 Moderators Popular Post Share Posted November 30, 2022 Christine McVie, who played with Fleetwood Mac and wrote some of their most famous songs, has died aged 79, her family has said. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-63812952 Hugely upset to hear this news, one of my all-time favourite vocalists, so many memories in every word. For now, this seems the most appropriate. 1

Free At Last
22 hours ago, AY Mod said: On my playlist a little earlier today. I bought this as a single in 1969, I much preferred Christine singing it over Etta James, who is also a favourite of mine. I think Etta over egged it. R.I.P. Christine, you were perfect.
Nconsistent
Her talent was enormous and her generosity to fellow musicians made Fleetwood Mac. Watched the excellent documentary last night and learned a lot. The band was a truly magical combination in their glory days. Mick's genius was to keep them together for so long. RIP Songbird.
