Madreddog
Some of us refuse to use BookFace. Bit unfair that they exclude people by using that. 4
Guest
What I personally wouldn't mind would be some vouchers, then I could use them for any future TT purchases! 👍

Or a company aiming at their target audience by using every available resource? I don't do Facebook either, but it's a useful resource for companies. Next thread below this one? "Hornby Loss", they need the extra revenue. If using Facebook puts a few pennies in the bank, then go for it. It's only the Santa Train set anyway. Currently about £50 in some retailers. Steamport Southport
Also don't forget some of the other Hornby "brands" have calendars as well. Airfix, Scalextric, Corgi Pity Humbrol don't as I wouldn't mind some of their products, but I suppose it's not really ethical to be giving away paints and sharp tools as prizes anymore.... Hroth
It's bad enough trying to remain enthusiastic about the Hornby effort. I leave them to their brand "enthusiasts"!

LOL The reason I, and many others, don't use Bookface is because of their information mining of personal data. I hate this and feel my personal information is none of their business. 1

Hroth
If you're a social media user, then it's just another "like" or whatever. if not then you just ignore it. Occasionally there is a "give us your email address" for a lucky dip, as they already have mine, those are the ones I enter. They're not learning anything new. Perhaps thats why I've never won anything... 🤪
