It wasn't even much of a dose either, I had a cold that was worse just after Xmas.

And I've felt good for a week but still testing positive......grrrrr!

I tested positive right up to the middle of the tenth day but was clear on the eleventh when I had to test when work asked me for urgent cover.

Yep, it's a weird one: I tested positive in total for about ten days too, even though most symptoms had disappeared after a week. But I guess the test is just showing that you have antibodies in your system and I'd expect them to hang around for a while - in fact, I'd hope they would, to make sure the virus doesn't start up again...

As nice the show is, both from layouts and traders point of view, the lack of seating areas or chairs at this exhibition is awful. It wasn't like that last year or before the pandemic. I don't know what's in the mind of the organizers. The average model railway enthusiast is 50 plus.

Not sure if I will return next year.

Ah it was there but rather well hidden. Just by our stand in the West Hall was a door to the bar and there were comfy sofas and lots of tables and chairs!

I am sorry guys, I was exactly there, people, me included, were sitting on the floor. Last year a lot of additional seating area was near the entrance. When has this photo been taken? 16:00?

went to the show today. Big improvment over last year. No gaps and they put more in to the show this year. Great to see so many traders and layouts. The smaller hall was full this year. I got the impression there was less specialist trader in the small hall than in previous years.
Over all great show and glad I went. Great they keept the free parking.

It’s not always possible to get everything right in a show, but clearly the seats did arrive. Our apologies if they weren’t there early enough.

In future look on the right side in the West Hall, I’ll take a pic tomorrow. It’s through a door so not obvious but lots of room and a bar for drinks.

Paul,

sometimes I feel I am old enough to be grumpy.... Lets forget that, you were right, the Austrian layout looked great. Especially the viaduct. But there was some great narrow gauge stuff as well...  Just a small selection.
