Was it the SJ that had a nasty habit of overturning or was that another make?

 

It did have that reputation but I never had any problems with the handling even turning right at a local mini roundabout with a rather pronounced button and an adverse camber. The problem arose because they became 'trendy' at one time and the mostly young inexperienced drivers expected them to handle like a Mini Cooper. Not helped by the open top versions being the most popular amongst those drivers.
