Satan's Goldfish
Big thank you to Alan and Maggie for tolerating myself, Andrea, and the boy earlier for a quick 'play' and test session on a short Warren Lane. The new 58 looks the part nicely and worked well (thanks Deltic Man) shame i can't say the same for the 92 i've been working on. Lots of investigation needed there! Just for something a little different some loco hauled coaching stock got a run out too. Today, Warren Lane is mostly pretending to be on the West-Anglian Mainline! Swifty11
Nice work Satan! Ian's old crane looks right at home there, (where are the usual warren resident cranes then?) Your new containers look nice and well at home.
legomanbiffo
Ian's crane isn't old at all; it's brand new! I took it in return for sound work that I did for someone several years ago and it sat unused on my shelf ever since. I know they can fetch quite a bit on ebay but money isn't everything. What better than to pass it on to this golden-hearted group of people to enable them to bring pleasure to us all for a few more years? Alan grossly exaggerates when he says it was a gift anyway, overlooking the pile of brand new GNER stock he gave me in return. More than happy to help guys. Satan's Goldfish
A rare 'red crane' outing..... Cheers Ian, it handles really well. The usual cranes were tucked up safely in their boxes Swifty, this was a quick testing session rather than full operating (it takes time to get everything properly set up and running!) Satan's Goldfish
Just wondering, what is the yellow crane lurking in the background??? It's a Kibri container crane, just a little something i was doing some size comparisons for. It's not Warren Lane compatable for many many reasons so don't read too much into it ... It does look good though, properly adapted for OO trains it would dwarf the Heljan crane :-)
WOMBATTY
Our First ###### Fang ###### Fang decals are Matts home made. WOMBATTY
It may be a Bank Holiday Saturday, but some train spotter has battled through nettles and thorn bushes to get close to the action... He is rewarded when 08417 moves some FEA's to No1 siding.

Calimero
Some good containers there, unfortunately no modelling for me this weekend as I have to deal with the real things! Anyway here is some pics for you reference including an Augustin box which I've not seen before on our trains.
Satan's Goldfish
Luckily I am resisting 45 fters so far otherwise all of those would look fantastic! Andrea's a happy girl Alan, there's soon to be some in the house. High cube containers next or trying one of the other new ones?
