RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted January 2, 2010 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted January 2, 2010 LOL That belongs in the Ebay thread on here. Irrespective of parentage, 8 lengths of used Hornby flexi track for ??49.99 B-I-N, PLUS ??4.95 postage. There really are some mugs out there, if anyone does actually buy that tat. Unbelievably there are because 12 bidders have bought some already ! Fools and money...

Sweeps
So how do these programmes work? Will Hornby have sold the BBC 10 miles of track and then the production company sold it on afterwards? I can't see Hornby giving away that quantity of track in return for the very limited publicity they got, same goes for the scalextric one. It also seems wasteful of the licence payers money if the track was left for the council workers to throw in the skip.

To be fair there are 24 sections in each lot, not just the eight pictured.
