In North America, the following:

 

"pillow sham

When my wife was at work in a small electronic factory, there was a guy come in to do some work for the company. She got talking to him and asked what he was doing. He replied that he was the 'Vision Technician'.

 

He had come to clean the windows......

It’s what we call it when a section shows occupied briefly when no train is there. Usually due to a poor connection or broken wire etc, the lamps in the diagram flicker.

Sadly, very true, fortunately, a relatively small number of those who, apparently, were qualified to do what I described. accompanied by their in-ability to recognise the talents of those of those who would benefit from being shown how to do so.

 

The good news is that in the mainstream there are a huge number of very successful and appreciated purveyors of cerebral enhancement.
