Where in Slawit is that?

First time I've seen "Slawit" used as an expletive...

If you know Slawit, the picture was taken looking north from the Huddersfield Narrow Canal where Lees Mill Lane crosses the canal from the south and runs out of tarmac. About 500 metres east of the centre of town.

I think this has appeared here previously, but what the heck? ....

Seen in the "Gent's" in an old fashioned "Spit and Sawdust" pub many years ago.. (I think it was where Stubby found his Diorama prototype!)..................

From the staff gents at a Romford school.

Please do not leave marks in the bowl.

Underneath inevitably someone had added

Francs and Sterling quite acceptable.

Of course today us members of the EC don't 'spend a penny' - we 'euronate'

(does anyone know where my coat is???)

My Grandparents had a little wooden plaque above their small toilet, reading:

"Ladies, Please remain seated during the whole performance. Gentleman, Please stand a little closer, it may be shorter than you think!"

On I-91 North in Connecticut as you approach Glastonbury and the exit for rte 3 there is a sign that advises "ROUTE 3 NO PERMITTED LOADS ALLOWED".

What this apparently self-contradictory sign means is that if you need a special permit to take whatever load you are carrying on the highway, then it's not allowed over the bridge to Glastonbury on route 3.

This is at the entrance to the toilets in Marks & Spencer's grocery store in Douglas, Cork.

Just what do the customers do with their vegetables?
