Rail-Online
Gost*rde has aquired a load of very old Gauge 1 stock. Unfortunately he cannot tell what they are, or even what an elliptical roof is (this is a plain arc)! Actually it is a representation of a LNWR coach painted plain brown with a GWR crest. All the gauge 1 stuff is completely lacking detail, would have been good in 1967 but not today, prices are, well, lets say he will not be selling many! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/G-G1-GAUGE-1-KIT-BUILT-GW-GWR-6-WHEEL-ELLIPTICAL-LUGGAGE-COACH-723-circa-1900-ei-/360857498322?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5404c872d2 Tony

Horsetan
Gost*rde has aquired a load of very old Gauge 1 stock. Unfortunately he cannot tell what they are, or even what an elliptical roof is (this is a plain arc)! He has enough trouble telling what his smaller scale stock is at the best of times. The only ellipse I can see is the slight longitudinal distortion in the roof from end to end! ...All the gauge 1 stuff is completely lacking detail, would have been good in 1967 but not today, prices are, well, lets say he will not be selling many!.... Or indeed any. I wonder what item of stock he has had on his books the longest? There must be a fair few contenders......

I have one of the standard ones (USRA light Pacific) which looks and runs quite reasonably, and a spare chassis, for which I'm looking for a spare body... (It's a bit too puny for an ATSF 4-6-4 (Revell). EDIT pedantic grammar Edited June 18, 2015 by Il Grifone
