And on the subject of rubbish (or at best spares):

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item45fd468f48

It's the comment in the advert that makes you wonder....

A INTERESTING FREE LANCE LOAD OF NONSENSE WITH NIEVE ATTEMPT TO CREATE A BR NBL CLASS 29 ? Bo-Bo DIESEL LOCO BY FLAT FRONTING INCLUDING A 4 NUMBER INDICATOR PANEL , FINISHED WITH A REPAINTED BR GREEN BODY LIVERY AS No.3317 IN FAIR TO GOOD CONDITION

Whilst not as shocking as some, how is the class 42 unused if it won't run?!

As regards to the Australian with the "rare" Princess loco follow this link and it may explain a lot

ta ok pls see this link ,http://www.dutchhrca.nl/priceguide.htm#PrincessElizabeth :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

True, high prices - as already suggested - do exist for O gauge collectables. But our wacky seller has entered the thing as HO, which means half-O. At least he's got the gauge right, if not the scale or value......

Another Cartmel special........

Perhaps we do Cartmel Toys Diecast and Trains a disservice. I've started to wonder if it's one of those places like Totnes that issues its own currency and that one British pound equates to four Cartmel pounds?

Aah yes; one of our 'former' members who has 'pro' weathered the Mermaid. I also note that one of his 'learned' friends who was jumping to his defence has been stockpiling a few NRM Deltics and adding £75.00 to his purchase price as soon as their stocks ran low. Free market? Maybe but I'm not that keen on it when I see opportunists making more money than the retailer whose investment brought such products to fruition. Whichever you look at it it's only good for one person.

Must be one of the "Little People" as the item specifics say it's never been out of the box. Pretty handy with Photoshop as well to cut and paste it onto that background without getting it out.

The clue to the 0 gauge Hornby 'Princess' is that she has inside bearings to her rear pony (like The Great Bear).and obvoiusly has pre-war LMS crimson livery.

I loved his car http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MAGNA-TR-REGO-TILL-END-NOVE-ENGINE-SEZIED-OTHER-THAN-OK-GOOD-TYRES-AOTO-/330635743743?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cfb6d11ff (seized engine but otherwise OK
