Maybe, the problem is that both got away with it for decades, because no one seriously acted on the rumours. There's a very interesting interview of John Lydon from the late 70s where he tried to but the BBC put pay to it. Public enemy number 1 then but a hero in retrospect. After third rail track had first been extended all the way from Waterloo to Exeter Central.
