Breaking News.
A Russian oligarch named Rolf was ejected from the buffet car on a train last night. He had become loud and abusive over the quality and the choice of the beers on offer. British Transport Police have confirmed the incident stating, "It appears that rude Rolf the red knows train beer."

I opened W/T this morning to read that??  spointing_above_100-100.gif

She should be careful saying things like that. It's the perfect opener for the husband to say something along the lines of "We'll have to build a shed / get a loft conversion  / clear out the garage  / move house, then".

After the railway man cave is finished, Dad and sprog disappear to it frequently and she never sees them.

Today's post - flyers from two opposing dietary regimes. Take your pick! My approach is as AY might say - moderation in all things😊

'Free recipe book worth £4.95 when you commit to a Countdown course.' Is that one where you end up with a figure like Carol Vorderman or Rachel Riley?

If it is, then I am really glad I have never purchased one.  Being male and a PE teacher, I have had various jobs where where a figure like that might well have caused problems.....

I think the "I used to quite like her, but she's now annoying" one has spent a lot more than £4.95 on her figure....

Don't worry, your secret is safe with us. PE Teachers with figures like that are now quite popular.

They did explain that on a BBC documentary about classic quiz shows.

They could only give away something like five cars a year out of the budget.

But one of the producers knew someone who could get cheap fitted kitchens, caravans and speedboats, So they would have a car and a speedboat on a wheeled plinth backstage. If they lost they'll wheel out the car and if they won it'll be something else!

Mirroring the disappiontment of Luke Littler, here are some people failing at the last to win a Morris Ital.

An Ital?

Not winning it would be a lucky escape!  My father bought one new just after he retired, expecting to be able to run it for at least a decade before problems arose.  It had to have its sills welded before it even reached its first MOT...

To be honest I think Luke Littler will be fine.

£200,000 for this tournament. Guaranteed entry into the next few due to him shooting up the rankings. If he ends up having a career in darts for the next few years he's raking it in even if he never gets a chance to win a major again (which I think he will soon).

It is also forgotten by the media that the lad who won was only 28!

When I was made redundant the 1st time, I bought from the local main dealer in Cambridge (Marshall) a - 3 month old 1,3 Ital with less than 3k on the clock. Newest car I've ever owned (and now will be  for sure). Top of the range model, I ran it for 12 years and 250k miles with little trouble. Time this crap that says BL products were bad was put to rest.

As were nearly all mass market cars of the time. My Dad's brand new Mk.1 Escort was utter sh1te.

Until my brother emigrated to Oz and bought a Falcon and me having a Fiesta as a short term stop gap; No more Fords in the family since.

My mate's dad spent a big chunk of his pools win on an SD1 2600S

It was a Friday afternoon car from a particulary bad Friday.
