A rather rare occurrence on the KWVR's diesel gala last weekend.  08266 is nearly always stationed at Haworth to shunt the loco sheds; indeed, I can only remember it being on full-line passenger trains once since I moved to the area.  But on the Saturday it was rostered for an Oxenhope-Keighley train on the Saturday morning :)

D3497 Fowey 1984 by Keith Wilde

Loco D3497 | Fowey, Cornwall UK | 1984

I found this one and D3452 (now preserved at Bodmin) inside St Blazey shed on 6/9/68 and wondered what on earth two Toton shunters were doing in Cornwall! Never did catch up with the third one, D3476, which was 'temporarily preserved' in the Sheffield area before being scrapped as a lost cause IIRC......

08495, if my memory is correct, was converted to a radio controlled version as a trial but I am not sure if it was a successful trial.
