RMweb Premium Popular Post Sasquatch Posted July 18, 2022 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted July 18, 2022 (edited) Early morning at Queensbury the sun light is pouring into the waiting room on the Keighley Halifax platform. Promises to be a lovely day! Rather than take the building out into the day light, you can bring the sun light in! Popular Post The Black Hat
This layout is still in the process of construction, but I think this is close enough for an attempt at inclusion. Please forgive the end of the HST and platform where each would continue onto the next board. Photos of the build can all be seen in my 'Briganton' layout thread. The link for which is here: https://www.rmweb.co.uk/topic/152305-briganton-the-train-now-arriving-on-platform-3/?do=findComment&comment=4876998 Thanks. Kind regards, Richard B I’m afraid it is. I only built the loco so I thank the 82G team for the backdrop. The loco is a David Andrews kit with additional inside motion, dcc and sound. Repton was an occasional Royal engine so I painted it as it might have been two weeks after such a duty, still fairly clean with the bulled up brass and copper starting to tarnish. RMweb Premium Sasquatch Posted August 1, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 1, 2022 (edited) As pointed out on the Grim-Up-North thread, Queensbury was closed to passengers in 1955 which means colour photos are rare. Which also means, that the layout might look better in Black and white! Edited August 1, 2022 by Sasquatch

RMweb Premium Popular Post 30368 Posted August 4, 2022 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted August 4, 2022 (edited) Forgive me this is a work in progress so it doesn't really fit the bill I guess. However it is on the way... My 4mm model of Basingstoke Engine shed which, I hasten to add, is not complete. My first attempt at a "proper" model railway. I build loco's primarily but phase 2, the shed yard, is next to get the scenic treatment once the wiring is tested out. A number of Drummond types on shed or waiting to go on shed. RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted August 5, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 5, 2022 My redesigned colliery is in this state, but I poured some plaster into some of the holes yesterday and will be putting some grass mat on as a base for the mountainside later this evening.
