RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted July 1, 2013 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1, 2013 Still no sign of the sisters but here's a lovely sight at Tigley Junction shed tonight, as its quiet and the sole engine 6814 awaits its next turn.
RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted July 1, 2013 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) A nice sunny evening as 4547 approaches Tigley Junction just as 2884 class 3864 passes with its coal train. The yellow growth you see is meant to be gorse and was inspired by the use on the layout 'Treneglos' amongst others. Its the only southern item you will see today. RMweb Premium Mallard60022 Posted July 1, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) There is a rumour going around 36E that a newly arrived driver at New England has been 'speeding' on evening southbound workings back to Peterborough. There have also been reports of some high speed Tiger Moth flights (well high speed for one of those) heading for mid Lincs after the training sorties in West Yorkshire; I saw one at the weekend and it was going almost as fast as Bittern, but in the opposite direction. Wonder what that's all about? Oh yes, great shot of the 45XX approaching the box by the way. Quart. Edited July 1, 2013 by Mallard60022

RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted July 2, 2013 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 2, 2013 I have been reliably informed that the Hornby Great Western liveried 72xx's are available from stockists other than Hornby,so you'll soon be able to see something different on this thread loco wise.I'm hoping this weekend but we'll see.If the Star turns up as well we'll have a plethora of goodies to admire.Fingers crossed. In the meantime here's 5049 'Earl of Plymouth' on the down Royal Duchy.Again.Sorry.
