Still no sign of the sisters but here's a lovely sight at Tigley Junction shed tonight, as its quiet and the sole engine 6814 awaits its next turn.

A nice sunny evening as 4547 approaches Tigley Junction just as 2884 class 3864 passes with its coal train. The yellow growth you see is meant to be gorse and was inspired by the use on the layout 'Treneglos' amongst others. Its the only southern item you will see today.

There is a rumour going around 36E that a newly arrived driver at New England has been 'speeding' on evening southbound workings back to Peterborough.

There have also been reports of some high speed Tiger Moth flights (well high speed for one of those) heading for mid Lincs after the training sorties in West Yorkshire; I saw one at the weekend and it was going almost as fast as Bittern, but in the opposite direction.

Wonder what that's all about?

Oh yes, great shot of the 45XX approaching the box by the way.

Quart.

Just kidding, it doesn't look bad on locos such as 777 or a 9f

Personally, I've always thought these look pretty good

Hi (again!) Rob,

Where did you get the HYDRA in post 943 please? I have a HYDRA shaped hole in the Little Didcot fleet...

All the best,

Castle

Here's Jims O gauge version. The 4mm version was under the label pocket money kits and was a reduction on the same artwork.I'm not sure they're still available but I'm sure an email to Jim would find out.

Haven't looked in here for a few days, but isn't that the tractor that Fords did in the B R experimental blue livery?

Wally

I've already been told my colour is the wrong shade but I need to know the correct number Humbrol/Revell shade to repaint it.I used French blue.

I have been reliably informed that the Hornby Great Western liveried 72xx's are available from stockists other than Hornby,so you'll soon be able to see something different on this thread loco wise.I'm hoping this weekend but we'll see.If the Star turns up as well we'll have a plethora of goodies to admire.Fingers crossed.

In the meantime here's 5049 'Earl of Plymouth' on the down Royal Duchy.Again.Sorry.
