RMweb Premium Torper Posted April 2, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 2, 2013 The object of the game is to state a town (with picture or brief explanation if you wish) beginning with the same letter that ended the previously posted town's name, e.g. Oxford (a prestigious university town in England) - Durham (another such, but with a Norman cathedral) - Montrose (where the Old Pretender, James Francis Edwards Stuart, spent his last night in Scotland before fleeing to exile in France) and so on. They don't have to be in the UK.I'll start with: Dundee Home of Dennis the Menace and Desperate Dan, and the city where I happened to be born. (unless Yoxall has another pub with a similar name?) No, definitely in Yoxall ... when I was young (i.e. not old enough to drink in pubs!!!) and a racing cyclist, the Saturday "chain-gang" regularly started a sprint for the Cafe in Lichfield as we passed the pub door!..
