Either upload the images directly to RMweb or enable sharing on your Flickr account and use the BB code to post here please. People are less likely to follow links and I assume you do want the images seen? I'll ask fellow members to report any further posts which are just links for admin removal. Sorry if I have "broken the rules" or I am annoying people. I will limit my posts in future to the now and again category as your two suggestions do not work for me. I don't mind going to flickr, If John has to upload to both sites it can make it harder for him by having two uploads to different sites the content that John has is relevant to the topics too so I think that The boss ( Andy Y ) has been a bit too harsh ( my opinion ). I will still be on flickr looking at all the Locos John uploads on there and plenty of others so I genuinely don't see a problem The links to flickr or other sites outside RM Web generally open in a new tab / window anyway so the RMWebber still has RMWeb in a "window". I am not wanting to get into any arguments etc so wont say anymore about it except for Thanks John for the excellent photographs on flickr !

Andy Y
I think that The boss ( Andy Y ) has been a bit too harsh ( my opinion ). It isn't necessarily what I think but what other users think. Even if the user can identify flickr within the url they don't know what they're going to find when arriving, mass linking can look like spamming too and it puts some users off. Also there was an instance where a user hade an image hosting account hacked and his images replced with pornographic images; is that what users would want to see. At least if it's hosted on RMweb or BBcode embedded the image will display on site and action can be taken more effectively if the image is displayed on the site. rob D2
I think johns photos are good, But if I want to search flickr for photos of locos I'd do it separately, I don't really want to keep getting directed away, and it doesn't give me any indication if it would be what I'm after

RMweb Premium Phil Mc Posted May 7, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 7, 2014 66527 at Crewe today, running round its train of 5 autoballasters & a twin-jib crane. The pics don't show it up as much as it looked 'in the flesh', but the front end has had a partial repaint (along with a few others of Freightliners early examples), with a different shade of Yellow. Maybe 'sunshine' Yellow instead of 'warning panel' Yellow? Or is it just because its clean? Cheers, Phil.
