I have taken this picture of 66 603 in the company of a Teddy Bear ( D9516 ) as it is a fairly unusual to have them both in a picture at the depot

taken earlier today at Midland Road Depot.

A few shots taken back in January from a footbridge about 2 miles west of Swindon Station; they were taken on a phone so they are a bit blurred.

I think the red one is a 59/2..................... Either 202 or 206 as they carry a name (unless one of the others has been named recently)

Cheers,

Mick

Interesting location, is that the footbridge near the Great Western way?

Indeed it is Mick - it's 59202 on what looks like 7Z12 Merehead - Wootton Bassett. GM super power :superman:

Evening all,

I haven't posted on here for a bit so here's a few of my pictures I've been hoarding of class 66's through Sandbach Station.

EWS pair of 66186 and 66098 worked a Crewe Basford Hall to Plumley West S.B. on Saturday night and this is the return working on sunday morning. The train is coming off the middlewich line with 15 Autoballasters.

I had a week off in January and heard about a few engineer trains passing through Sandbach and this is one of them. Freightliner pair of 66527 and 66956 top and tailed a Crewe Basford Hall to Hall Royd Junction.

In the same day as this above engineers train, There was this Crewe Basford Hall to Guide Bridge Yard working with Freightliner 66613. I've seen this train on RTT but everytime it end's up getting cancelled so it was nice to see to actually run with this motley assortment of wagons. The wagons were 2 x HIA's, 1 X FEA-B 1 X KFA
