RMweb Gold mcowgill Posted August 4, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 4, 2013 Just frightened myself realising that one of my favourite photos is now over 30 years old, 'City of Wells' climbing out of Keighley with a storm brewing, September 1982 Seems like only yesterday.. pH
I've never subscribed to the belief that 'rods down' is a necessity for a locomotive portrait. Here's V2 60876 at York shed on 14 August 1965: and A1 60129 at Tweedmouth shed 13 July 1964: Edited August 5, 2013 by pH

hornbyandbf3fan
Once again, I'm not sure if I've already posted these. Some more pictures that I've found on my hard drive. Pictures from the GCR and the NYMR. Thanks, Will
69843
'Oh look, Bill and Ben!' In all reality, those are some wonderful shots Will. The shot of 78019 has a nice feel about it, and the fence in the foreground gives it a nice bit of perspective. The DMU also looks like it's heading away? I'm looking at modelling the Port of Par pair later this year. Plans are proving interesting to find in Oz...
hornbyandbf3fan
Thanks, not bad seeing as half of them are from my phone! The DMU was heading away I think... I have lots more pictures of the twins if you want to see them?

eastwestdivide
Not sure if even it's mother would call it a thing of beauty, but there's a certain steampunk feel to the old Swiss electric crocodiles: (might have been better without the gawkers)
