Adrian Wintle
I'm not 100% convinced it's real... steve That is part of the problem with stabilized HD video from these things. It is from angles that our minds don't accept as 'normal', the platform seems 'too steady', and the motion makes the leaves pixellate, all of which make it look like a computer artefact rather than a real video. The 1st clip shows at least 3 real birds fairly close.
Mike Boucher
I think this has been posted here before, but... Tehachapi! (and you can hear the copter, so you can hear how loud they are, and that you can hear the train over the drone...

I can't imagine a tourist railroad in the US allowing the passengers to ride sitting on the window sills, with their feet dangling out. Wow!
RMweb Premium kevinlms Posted August 2, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 2, 2013 I can't imagine a tourist railroad in the US allowing the passengers to ride sitting on the window sills, with their feet dangling out. Wow! Its long been a tradition, unlikely as it sounds. More info here. http://www.puffingbilly.com.au/ A late friend of mine contributed to the success of the 'drive a train', for which people travel especially to Australia for. http://www.puffingbilly.com.au/news-events/drive-a-steam-train/ It isn't a trip up & down a yard, but out on part of the mainline, between regular train services. BG John
I was watching the videos while listening to a bit on US drone attacks in Pakistan on the radio! What happens when they crash, especially into people?
