:scratchhead:

Evening David, looking at the pics this evening and one thing that strikes me is the lack, (or at least looks like the lack) of litter in the track. When I lived in Hampshire and when visiting Birmingham New St there seems to be lots of litter. When I did my Deesdale Road (due in Model Rail very soon) I included a lot of litter and I had a lot of very favorable comments at shows saying it was real for today's world. :O

Moorings................ :drag:

Thanks for your post, Andrew P........... hear what you are saying about the litter Andrew,  there was, until a few year's ago,a lot of it about the station and track.

Dover, is kept very clean, these day's,

I have a feeling, track power maybe switched off, after midnight, cannot see it beeing removed, duringoperating hour's.

Well, in the above pic's,you can see now ,the colour changes,in the stanchion's on the left, platform's 2/3,

as the "Sun", traverses, DP.

Today, I hope to relay new trackbed through DP,the box you can see in thebackground of the pics.

Also, remove all the webbing, from the new track, that is to be laid through DP, finish off rail colour and colour the sleepers'

The reduction of the 'litter' can be attributed mainly to a couple of things; the demise of train toilets that emptied on to the ballast, and the employment of on-board cleaners who collect rubbish during the journey, rather than sweeping it on to the track at the station at the end of the shift. I don't think isolations to allow track-cleaning are that common; someone who's worked in a SR ECR (cue 'LyddRail') might know.

Am happy relaying "Woodland Scenics,Trackbed".................this is how I use it, from the box.

Cut off one of the opening flap's tab..........dispense from the box, on a roll,
