David Todd
Still trying to work out whether the photo of the signalbox (above) is a model or the real thing. So accurately observed and executed. This is one of the very few threads that throws me every time time I look in. I really have to focus to distinguish reality from modelling, just splendid !! Regards Scott Agreed, that signalbox is jawdropping, particularly the roofslates and moss - absolutely amazing modeling. Thank you for your comments, This is the first box, I used a reduced photo, backed with thin balsa, 3/32" The one Freebs Built. The real one. Network Rail Mess Room. Just in time, my 3D printed one, arrived the day before.
shanks522
I'd take your 3D print down to the station and ask the them to paint it. G
jcredfer
You could go down and ask for a small pot of each one of the paints they are using ..... You could also explain how difficult it is for a "Leckie" to paint them and try for a sympathy paint job on your platform uptights uprights ....... [that was a genuine typo, but so appropriate I thought it best left in.]

runs as required
I clicked like about the above - but I'm also impressed by the 'go faster' look to the canopy stanchions raking forward towards the platform edge. Very sexy! dh

HAL 'O THE WYND
I've had the same mat(?) for a while - purchased cheaply second-hand but good as new. I'm keeping it till my five-year-old grandson is a bit older. Looking forward to it! Tony.
David Todd
Wow! Gone 'modular' I see. dh Still a "Rocker", @ heart Very realistic, but I think you've overdone the weathering. Tony. Honestly, do you really think so, appreciate your input Tony, as you produce works of art. I will take another look. I've had the same mat(?) for a while - purchased cheaply second-hand but good as new. I'm keeping it till my five-year-old grandson is a bit older. Looking forward to it! Tony. My grandson,is now 7, going on 25, as he tells me, he knows everything. The baseboard plus others, were bought for his dad,to go in their loft. It was previously designed for an n gauge layout. So,there is another b/board,left over plus small add on b/boards and a helix, complete with studs, rising from base level, to 10" in height and it lit with strips of LEDs. Now that his dad has dismissed the loft, I have decided to use the trackmat to place on the b/board. The b/board will be placed on two wooden trestles when in use, for grandson/daughter. The pics shew, the extra section of b/board I built, ready to glue today,to the main section. Once completed, with top a fixed, it will hang on the wall, when not in use.
