RMweb Premium Crepello Posted September 26, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) I note that the Seaside Excursion set with 4F number 44044 is down for Dec/Jan, rather than Jan/Feb for the normal 4Fs. Mr chapman
I see that there are colour pictures of the Merchants. Are these proper samples or mock ups?
RMweb Gold TomE Posted October 21, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) They look more like hand painted samples to me. The unpainted wheels, colour and quality of finish doesn't suggest factory applied paintwork, although it's difficult to be 100% certain with the small size of the pictures. Compare to them to the duchess and you can see the difference though. The 4F pictures are the same I think. Tom. Mr chapman
Ah thats ok. Yes the wheels looked a bit funny unpainted. I thought most the colours looked a bit "off". Perhaps they will be at warley?
RMweb Gold Adam1701D Posted October 22, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 22, 2014 I think the MNs had been Photoshopped, as all the EPs I've seen pictured had been plain grey. If the Duchess is anything to go by, they are going to be rather nice.
RMweb Premium Crepello Posted October 25, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 25, 2014 Covhop production samples on site now. Remember these will have the new close-coupling NEMs as per the clayhoods.

RMweb Premium Crepello Posted November 11, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 11, 2014 Very quiet in N-gauge on here recently; I suspect this is the lull before the storm! I'm hoping the new Farish models don't arrive at the same time as Dapol's latest Britannias and 27s, or I'll have to try the lottery!

justin1985
The Polybulks (in green\grey livery), refurbished 37/4s and CCTs are all reviewed in the new Rail Express - which I had hoped would have meant they'd be on sale by now! No sign in Liverpool, at least ..
RMweb Gold Revolution Mike Posted November 20, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 20, 2014 Nice (but expensive if they all arrive now!). Cheers, Mike

Mr chapman
I don't suppose there was any painted samples of the N or merchant navy's floating around warley at all?
RMweb Gold TomE Posted November 22, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 22, 2014 I don't suppose there was any painted samples of the N or merchant navy's floating around warley at all? Nope, still the unpainted EP samples of both on show. Painted A2s and Class 31s were about the only items of note. Quiet year at Warley for N Gauge! Tom. RMweb Premium Crepello Posted November 27, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 27, 2014 Hi Chaps and Chapesses, I've started a new thread for the CCTs so can we keep this thread for its original purpose--to alert members to changes in the Farish site. You know it makes sense!
RMweb Premium Crepello Posted November 27, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 27, 2014 Great pics acg--I do like those carflats. Surely these would make a fairly easy one for Farish on existing Mark 1 tooling?
