PenrithBeacon
I spent yesterday afternoon at Chearsley and saw a 67 on an evening train to Stourbridge (IIRC). The loco hauled diagrams are, according to 'RealTime Trains' timed as for a Cl.158 dmu. I'll put a short video up when I've processed them. Two things, are the loco hauled trains on regular diagrams that can be predicted, and, off topic, do the Bin Liners still run from Ruislip? Regards Edited : 67 was 68! EddieB
If recent observations are anything to go by, it does indeed appear that 68s are displacing the 67s from hauled services out of Marylebone. On Thursday 12th March, blue 68008 was at the head of the 17:50 service to Banbury. Earlier today 68013 and 68012 were parked on the headshunt at Wembley depot (seen from the vantage point in Sherrens Farm Open Space). (The washed out sky looks a little like a crudely retouched layout photo).
RMweb Gold roundhouse Posted April 3, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 3, 2015 The 68s have been used on the Banbury blue grey set for a while. Will be interesting yo see if they are now on the Chiltern silver sets.
alibuchan
015 was on the banbury set and 10, 12 and 13 were being used on the silver sets. 67017 was on the final set. As of Thursday (2/4).

'CHARD
Interesting to see the detail differences between the standard 68008 and Chiltern hire spec 010.
leopardml2341
Interesting to see the detail differences between the standard 68008 and Chiltern hire spec 010. Perhaps one's the 'Railroad' version ?

RMweb Premium newbryford Posted April 5, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 5, 2015 Interesting to see the detail differences between the standard 68008 and Chiltern hire spec 010. For some reason, the Chiltern locos are devoid of nose end and below cab window handrails. DRS liveried 68008, along with 68009 are the designated spares outside of the dedicated Chiltern liveried 68010-68015. Along with 010-015, 008/009 are AAR multi-fitted for working with the Mk3 DVT's Cheers, Mick
RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted May 19, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 19, 2015 I've just got back from a good day out to Leamington and Banbury and managed to see my very first class 68. Here's a grabbed shot of N0 14 heading north at Leamington Spa. We then went to Banbury and the first southbound loco hauled was still a silver 67. Then 68014 appeared heading south. As it headed off 68011 came into view heading north. And I at last managed to get a decent head on shot. All in all a good day. Jamie
