Guest
Some excellent shots in this thread. These old girls are getting a bit long in the tooth now, but it's great to see them still going strong.

mpb56125
Amazing to see them at Frodsham, what were they doing there? Been recording Wirral Lines. Only noticed them on the run whilst working nights and as a bonus my relief came in early. Tonight they are doing Merseyrail Northern Lines. JeffP
I always had a soft spot for the JA's. Here's 73004 at Waterloo on one of the NSE days, around 25 years ago.

Guest
Nice shots Jeff. Looks like 73003 is about to enter the loco sidings at the Norwood end of Selhurst Depot. Some GEX stock in the background of the first shot. Didn't often see that at Selhurst. The 73 is pictured adjacent to the "official walking route" between Norwood and Selhurst Depots. From memory, we were allowed around 20 minutes to walk from one end to another. In reality, we'd all catch a lift from something coming out of the washer road and be at Selhurst in under a minute, freeing up more time to drink tea!
