    been to the hospital for a colonoscopy no food for forty hours industrial strength laxatives to find out i have colitis after two years off on off pain and test now pleased i know what's wrong with me

      Had Colitis myself many years back and it can be an incredibly tough thing to live with. I went to see my GP some 4 weeks after getting the first symptoms and he spotted it for what it was straight away, I was admitted the following morning for the camera for confirmed diagnosis.

      Been there, done that, its not all bad as Asacol tablets have controlled it really well. The original signs were scary though!

      Full sympathies, also been there. Funny how beef consomme acquires an attraction all of it's own during the final stages of the fasting.
