  1. Hello All, Dapol have taken my depost on the 6th for the Black Label A4, it will be interesting to see if they are delivered before christmas? Roy
  2. In addition to the Royal Scotsman 66s John has assisted me with another loco rebranding;- Please click to enlarge Reworked from 66412 DRS. The DRS branding was removed and required some over spraying (Which John did) of the remaining decals. The lights were rewired and the tail lights replaced with white SMD LEDs. I used Fox transfers for the Freightliner Branding and Railtec transfers for the numbers. Regards Roy edit: replaced link with Gallery Image
  3. Morning All, Finally getting around to an update this morning. I visited Parkway last week and also picked up my 2nd Royal Scotsman 66, 66743. Photo below of the pair. I also forgot my video camera and had to take footage on my phone, so appologies if it's not the same quality as usual. Regards Roy
  4. They take your card details when you order and no money is paid until dispatch, expected 4th quarter 2017.
  5. For anyone still looking for the Limited Edition 800, they appear to be available for pre-order again.... http://www.Hornby.com/uk-en/shop/new-for-2017/hitachi-iep-bi-mode-class-800-0-limited-edition.html Best regards Mr B
  6. There have already been two Heljan versions of that livery, One original and the Limited edition from RailExpress of the Virgin Heritage Livery, will stick to my Heljan models as I prefer them anyway. Mr B
  7. Morning all, Got mine in the post this morning As you can see the usual limited edition standard from Kernow, Etched plates and a brief history of the loco. Hopefully these photos will inspire others to purchase Regards Roy
  8. Morning all, This is a video of the latest running session at Parkway:- All of the locos in this session were resprayed and weathered by John himself, including the Caledonian Sleeper coaches. This session also marked the final laying of track on the main upper circuit, only the TMD remains to be fully laid. Regards Mr B
  9. Hello all, Picked mine up from Locomotion yesterday sadly the other power car is 43312 which will clash with the Hornby VTEC set R3390TTS. I know it already clashes with the re-sprayed set I have 43311 & 43312. Regards Roy
  10. Afternoon all, The latest video is available The latest up date is the point wiring has been complete on the mainline, leaving only the TMD point work to be wired and the track plan to be finalised. Regards Mr B
  11. Hello all, John and I have completed the main track of the scenic section. Below is a link to a video of some of the trains which were run:- Regards Roy
  12. Hi Marcus, I'm no expert on the region but the shadow in the photo suggests to me the pipe is still there? Regards Roy
  13. Hi All, As per John's post above, please find attached photos of the two Dutch 37s;- 37232 37156 Regards Roy
  14. Agree with the nose end grills. Various photos on Flickr show the No1 end drivers side is the only nose end set which are the original divided grills and the other 3 sets are the refurbished type with no dividers. No idea which are the final photos, just have to wait and see, at least if incorrect the grills can be replaced with etches. Regards Roy
  15. Good day all, Here is a video of the latest running session from Parkway. https://youtu.be/N4i4VhubkU0 Some interesting trains including the ex-East Midlands Trains HST with East Coast Decals Regards Roy
  16. Piece and quiet, kids in bed and wife is out!

  17. Hi Ian, I've not really had them on anything other than a straight short test run (scared of them coming off the rails and being damaged). With them being on roller bearings they do have quite a drag more like old Triang coaches, my Bachmann "Silver Fox" seemed to manage the short test run. I've not tried with the latest Hornby A4s, but am hoping for the best. With the coaches having only a Buckeye coupling the A4 will also need one. I sadly missed out on the GAM silver A4s but am keeping an eye on the 2nd hand market. I did get them for a good price direct from GAM much less than RRP for the full set. At the time I was contemplating the full Flying Scotsman set but I'm very much scared of SHMBO and this was B.C. (Before Children). P.S she still doesn't know about them. Regards Roy
  18. I have them on pre-order from my local model shop, I was assured by the Hornby Rep before he retired I would get them. I have them to go with my Golden Age Models Jubilee coach set. Sadly I missed out on a GAM silver A4, and at £1200 each wouldn't have bought more than one. Regards Roy
  19. Hello Robert, all, I know this maybe a bit off topic but it does relate to Kinnaber and Strathmore route..... Does anyone have or know of the Gradient Profiles for the Kinnaber Junction as was? Regards & thanks Roy
  20. Hello themymysteryman101, I'm thinking about it depends money is tight just now and also if it will have the correct tooling around the exhausts or not, as its not currently available as far as i'm aware. I'll be keeping my eyes on it, it's been hard to refrain from the First Great Western HST set from the NRM too. as per photos below Edit - photos added
  21. Afternoon All, Please find attached copies of the photos taken at Parkway on Monday of the VTEC at various places on the Layout. Regards Roy
