Hi Angus, I'm not worried, was just a little confused :-))

The wagons are very nice but I'm assuming they are 7mm? The 2FS logo in your avatar is very confusing.

Edit
Just read some of your other posts and it makes a bit more sense now. Any chance of a real name?

Just beautiful Ian. I see you have discovered the reason I take so long to paint my locos - they go from sweet runners in the bare metal to dogs that require hours of fettling once decorated! There must be a law governing that principal:-))
I look forward to seeing her have a run on Highbury next weekend.

Looked and performed superbly Mark. There are some snaps of some of the other items from your stock box running on TM over on the layout thread.
Looking forward to seeing it finished and painted

Beautiful work Ian, a real achievement. Having had a play with the loco on Tucking Mill I can assure other followers of your blog that she runs as well as she looks.

Fabulous stuff Mark. I hope it will be along for further running in trials on Tucking Mill at High Wycombe at the weekend.

Of course he'll be bringing it to the AGM, its already finished in North Somerset Light livery!:-))
Beautiful work Ian .

Hi Tom,
I'm glad the show went well, the presentation looks very smart.
As Andy said you need to make sure you have someone who can look after the layout whilst you head off to lunch, comfort, rest of the show etc. I have a mate who regularly comes to help at shows in the south who is really good, I'll give you his number............ah, its you! :-))
see you at Farnham, Jerry

Brilliant Ian. Some really ingenious solutions to the problems raised by a tricky loco.
Do bring it along to the AGM, finished or not.

Another great post Ian, I've been looking forward to the next instalment.

Good to see something running on here.
As for the Jinty, a bit of controlled slop is always useful for pickup, particularly on 0-6-0s. I find they need to bed in before they will really run sweetly - have you got a rolling road you can give it a few hours on?

Great stuff Julia, looks superb. The allotment looks fine, the runner beans when you make them will be rampant for mid summer. I'll be posting a picture of mine in my new veg gardening and railways thread (seriously!) which I intend to start in the next few days.
A point of detail for Andrew. Mick Simpson can indeed see their allotment from his bench but Mick is only in charge of heavy digging, the management of the plot, planting and care, is most definately Yvonne's:-))Jerry

Another great thread posting Ian. I do think this is the way to go for 2mm chassis with all that weight low down, particularly smaller protoypes. I have a significant birthday approaching and have asked for one of the little Proxon mills so will be having a go at one myself - an Ilfracombe goods for Tucking Mill.

Hi Andrew,
I'm really pleased this has found a home. I was one of the trio of members who went up to extract the layout from the loft and, as Julia said, it wasn't designed to be moved!
I look forward to following your progress on here.

Afraid I can't help with the sighting of the tablet apparatus but, as Andy says, the trackwork is looking superb. The first, black and white shot is particularly atmospheric.
Jerry

Great stuff Ian although the ability to be able to play trains is liable to slow progress!

What the others have said Ian, brilliant.
Broad gauge Julia - fantastic idea. Would love to see that.

More superb stuff Tom. Shame I can't make the layouts first outing due to clashes, its going to look excellent despite being a work in progress.
Jerry

Really neat work as usual Ian.

Saw them today, just beautiful.
Jerry

Superb stuff Andy, look forward to seeing them on Saturday.

A really useful photo sequence Mark - nice chassis, shame about the body! Would the chassis fit under one of the new 08 bodies
I remember this loco having a run out on Highbury some years ago - very controllable and reliable runner.

This is going to be a little belter. It really shows the advantage of 2mm in that you have an interesting trackplan that retains a feeling of spaciousness in just six feet. I'm particularly pleased you have gone for a high backscene, I never like to see the top of the sky when looking in to a scene.

I like that, very nice bit of yellow grot.
