Hi Are they the sidings at Dunford East? Cheers Paul

Hi Usually but not always. Our supplier did an over the air update to our meters and the monitor stopped working plus the usage was not being uploaded to them. It took around four months to sort out as it was at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and required an engineer visit. We were switched back to manually uploading our readings for that period. Cheers Paul

Hi I make my own bread buns using the bread machine to make the dough as the bought buns give me stomach ache (could be the preservatives they add). Ours is a Panasonic SD-254 which we’ve had for years. Cheers Paul

Level crossing stupidity...
PaulCheffus replied to Katier's topic in UK Prototype Discussions (not questions!)
Hi One of the reasons a footbridge was built adjacent to this crossing and has been there since at about 2015. They recently built another footbridge near the university to cover the level crossing there. Cheers Paul -

Hi That looks very good. I’ve got a pair of these under construction and the body and chassis are basically complete. I am now at the detailing stage and wondered what you have used for the gangways on the ends. Cheers Paul -
Hi The postman has delivered several of these to us in the last few days. I’ve posted them back blank as I don’t appreciate aggressive marketing and the subject matter of this one is upsetting as I recently lost one of my parents. Cheers Paul

Hi I have one of these to build so I am looking forward to seeing how you tackle this. Cheers Paul

Hi I’ve also found a 1mm milling cutter does a similar job but leaves the hole with a square bottom rather than the drill shape. Cheers Paul

Hi Saw two people today within minutes of each other both driving whilst on their mobile phones. The higher fines and points don’t seem to deter them. Cheers Paul

Hi My 1/148 scratchbuilt version, however I have no idea how much it cost me to do. I completed the first just as Dapol announced the RTR version and I had the second finished before their release. Cheers Paul- 224 replies

Hi Try a few known nut sizes on the screw you have, one of them should fit unless they have used an obscure thread. Cheers Paul

Hi Thanks for the reply and I’ve finally got mine working. It would appear that the lighting decoders are not compatible with Railcom as turning that off in the command station allowed the lights to toggle with F0 and change with direction. Switching Railcom back on causes the lights to malfunction again. The reason for asking about the light arrangement is that I get red at one end and white plus red at the other. This also occurs on DC. I took my driving trailers apart so I could see where the contacts were in relation to the decoder and all looks fine. Cheers Paul
