  1. I've got a load ready but decided a bit of weathering may be in order....combination of airbrushing, pigments and washes. Chris
  2. They work well but I used to help with a large (and superbly done) HO US layout that had these installed in just the way you describe - even after a single day of operating - which in this case did involve a lot of switching - I tended to have a very sore finger tip! I should say that they were fitted in such a way that you only had one angle of attack so it was always exactly the same sore spot...
  3. Sorry - what I meant was -buying a replacement means I find the bit I needed to find in the first place..
  4. I have not watched this but it may be useful? https://thetanningstore.com/SP-35-Airbrush-Routine-Thorough-Cleaning/
  5. Graphics direct do genuine spare parts including nozzles and needles for Sparmax but looking at the prices it actually may make sense to get a new airbrush if you can afford it? https://www.graphicsdirect.co.uk/pages/search-results?q=sparmax+sp+35+spare+parts As for your problem - I'm not familiar with the sp35 I assume there is a circular nut holding the needle in place - can this be loosened so the needle can be slid forward? Needle is 0.35mm btw. https://www.graphicsdirect.co.uk/products/sparmax-sp35-double-action-airbrush?gclid=CjwKCAjw9uKIBhA8EiwAYPUS3OZgThK-xxe_g5sO9JUUeZjguIrn7Innfau5C6uJTmjeBst2-832dxoCq2kQAvD_BwE Chris Hopper
  6. The Thornbury and South Gloucestershire exhibition is currently going ahead on 20/21 November albeit in a slightly modified form with measures such as online booked admission only etc. https://www.tsgmrc.co.uk/ Penmaenbach may make its exhibition debut at the show....fingers crossed...
  7. Suits me - I could not make the original dates..
  8. Excellent - a day out beckons! I might even get a ride on a GWR Castle HST. I think Cheltenham is happening the following weekend as well..
  9. I think SVR is this weekend..some shows do appear to be on.. https://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/events/exhibitions
  10. I saw a number of container trains at Eastleigh last weekend and it looked to me as if a significant proportion of the boxes were very new and shiney - towards and away from Southampton..
  11. What a cracking selection. But seriously...I now dispose of any surplus railway books to Oxfam - I am registered for Giftaid which means once sold they can treat a book a donation. If they are at all valuable or specialised they go to their central website - which I have found to be useful source of second hand railway books when I'm buying. Chris
