  2. I did the same in the 1990s....the US stuff was a revelation..I'm back now but I have a box of BR duds....when you take your trainset to a show you have to have stuff you can rely on....

  5. Cheers Rob - I'm about to use a SMS (77L RUB) board for a small rural branch but its only 110cm which makes a big difference. I do want a two coach long loop which rather dictates the design. It will have 55cm fiddle yard at each end.
  6. I sometimes use a DC input to the track with the DCC feed removed (easy in the rear of an NCE PCP pane)l as a multimeter will give a -/+ indication which can also help diagnose problems..
  7. Trackpower? May not be relevant if you have metal fishplates. Otherwise is it possible the wire inputs to the point motor switch have got crossed? They certainly go to different inputs in the photo?
