Having gatecrashed Rob's Sheep Chronicles thread I felt I ought to do the decent thing - so here goes...
The story so far....
I had bought a couple of BR era J70s as a mate was threatening to build a W&U based layout.
When the March Lockdown bit I decided to see what I could achieve with a couple of SMS 77L RUB boards - albeit with a third board as a shunting lead.
The result is Lockdown Fen.
Peco C75 Bullhead was used which provided some design limits due to the length of the points ( and sadly made my Hornby Class 31 a non-starter) but I've managed a 3/3/5 Inglenook...and it gave me an excuse to build a few Parkside kits as well.
Wisbech & Upwell is the inspiration but I'll be happy to use J15s, J72s as well as Class 24s/15s/08s.....all we need now is a 2020 standard Drewry......
Its very simple but it was a lot of fun.....
