  1. I suspect I'm a bit of an outlier in such matters as most aspire to free running...I've just worked through a small fleet of Accurascale PFAs ruining their free-running capability so I can shunt with them reliably....
  2. I find with a small number of wagons using either Kadees or S&Ws for shunting I pretty much always add some black foam under the wagon bearing on an axle to give a bit of rolling resistance...I suspect TL-equipped stock would also benefit from such treatment... Chris H

  6. My (uncaptionned) photos are here...click on the photo for my album - some photos are not great but I've included them for now...I thought the P87 US North 9th Street was excellent...
  7. In a concession to the more frivolous readers among the crowd ( you know who you are) here's a picture of Timmy's Bottom's bottom....

  12. I've been a little busy - sorry to disappoint - I thought something was better than nothing...
  13. I have returned from Missenden with some more progress.....there are pics of TB plus the work of others - including the continuing restoration of Iain Rice's Butley Mills by Andy Vincent - in this album... https://www.flickr.com/photos/103471893@N02/albums/72177720310163652/with/53093539003/ Chris Hopper
  14. Thanks Andy appreciated....however the pleasure we all got from seeing your progress on BM will be my overriding memory of this year's Missenden Summer week.
