  1. Think you should delete your last post too. It was only quite politely pointed out that it had been discussed earlier in the thread :-)
  2. Yeah, and £15 more expensive than all the others presumably because it's weathered. At £169.95 unfortunately I'm out.
  3. Think Heljan did that one but who has done 47484?
  4. Yeah, I'm not complaining - would make a nice pair.
  5. Hasn't a GWR150 class 47 been done before by Bachmann? IIRC 47079 as a Kernow limited edition.
  6. I registered an interest for 10p when it was first announced but have not received any further comms yet either....? Did the same for the Royal 47 and was contacted once prices and release dates were known.
  7. I received an email from Hattons a few weeks ago saying the DRS 47 was due on or after 26th January (i.e. today!) but nothing since.
  8. As pointed out earlier, it's strange that two Colas locos are not in the catalogue (37099 & class 70) but 37421 is there?? Have they been sold out to retailers already?
  9. As mentioned above, the release with red back nameplates was a production run and therefore not limited to a specific number. The Hornby Collectors Club model, weathered with black backed nameplates, was however limited to 500 models.
  10. Two versions of 50007 in green have been done in the past by Hornby. R2408 with red backed nameplates - production release 2004 R2499 with black backed nameplates, weathered - Hornby Collectors Club Limited Edition of 500 released 2005
  11. Thanks for the head's up. It does seem a little at odds with Bachmann's website such as listing 66728 which the website doesn't show due until March/April. As already mentioned the new class 70s are an interesting omission too given the website says Dec/Jan. Time will tell...
  12. I suspect they have not shifted as many 66418 or 37672 limited editions as expected as these have been discounted (15 year celebration is a good cover) or bundled cheaper with complimentary stock. I'm really grateful to KMC for continuing to commission limited editions, they've done some good ones but, like a lot of us I'm sure, I cannot buy them all like I previously did but now choose the few I really, really like. I'm hoping one or two others will also be discounted in the future.
  13. You weren't the person I was thinking of :-) I think it is reasonable given the nature of Dave's post on 3rd August to ask for a quick update. I'd hope he wouldn't feel hounded by this.
  14. Possibly but only one person can answer that for sure.
  15. Surprise, surprise. Just waiting for a similar announcement on the Locomotion 'royal' 47. Still, some more time to save up.
  16. The Locomotion ltd ed royal 47 is also said to be due in October which, like the Colas 47, doesn't fit with the January delivery date for the production 47s....
  17. Welcome announcement. Even more welcomed would have been a batch of TOPS numbered Class 27s if anyone from Heljan is reading.....
  18. To be honest the emails fail to say much at all, with key information like price and expected delivery dates missing. Even the info they try to give is replaced with an XXX. Still it's better than complete silence and at least we know they are definitely going ahead.
  19. Hi Dave, For budgeting purposes are you any closer to knowing when the second invoices will be issued? There's quite a few desirable releases at the moment and I dont want to get caught out. Thanks
  20. Not sure what you mean? The Colas Railfreight what is red not orange? Assuming you mean the class 60 recently released, pictures of the bodyside orange I've seen look correct?
  21. I dont think this is correct. AFAIK Hornby have never done a plain DB red 60.
  22. For me the bigger issue is about risk and reward. As I understand it Crowdfunders are taking an element of risk in that if, for whatever reason, the project could not be completed they may not get back some or all of their money paid so far as it has most likely already been spent developing the project. We are also trusting that the product will be good pre-any third party reviews etc. For taking this risk I believe there should be a reasonable reward which is unfortunately not the case if you compare what Hattons are offering them for if you only put yourself down for one Crowdfunded model (5 pence difference). I personally have decided to stick with the project however, in fact I've just ordered my fourth Crowdfunded 92, as the rewards for ordering multiple models improve and I'm keen to support DJM in this venture as otherwise we may never have seen what promises to be a top spec class 92 in 00. I also take confidence from the class 71 results achieved by DJM but I'm not blind to the Crowdfunder risk, no matter how small it may be.
  23. At £135 they are a massive 5p more than the first ordered by a crowdfunder??!
