  1. Looks like 66 779 to me but that might just be wishful thinking...
  2. It was a planned Rails of Sheffield limited edition.
  3. Strange that 97407 doesn't appear to be being released with the other two new ones that are out now? Bachmann website shows November/December for this one.
  4. Quite a significant hike in Hattons pre-order price from £23 to £32. I thought they looked exceptional value at the former but that bubble has now been burst.
  5. I wonder with the Rail Express 66720 having now arrived whether the LTM class 66s are also now in the country?
  6. Blimey that was lucky. Did they only have one? Apparently it took Bachmann themselves 3 years to track one down to complete their display cabinet collection!
  7. I suspect getting the last few may take a while. I have been watching eBay for over 5 years for the SJ Claye wagon to no avail.
  8. The box for the SJ Claye wagon was numbered 37-175 as per the picture here: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/331578320149 Note the label also says Bachmann Times 1999.
  9. Martin's 70001 Charles Roberts is the same as 'my' 1998 Charles Roberts 7 plank although I had it down as 37-125Z not 37-175Z. I dont own one so Martin may be correct. Similarly, 'my' 37-075 Cambrian 7 plank is the same model as Martin's 1923 Standard wagon. I'm not convinced that 37-078X ('Bachmann' 7 plank in blue) was a 'free' issue release to club members unless someone knows otherwise.
  10. I had a look at these a few months ago. Here is what I came up with in addition to your list. The releases around the transition from Bachmann Times to the Collectors Club are a bit sketchy. Some of these early ones are also as rare as hens teeth. Bachmann Times 1998? - Bachmann 7 plank 37-078X 1998? - Charles Roberts 7 plank 37-125Z 1999? - Cambrian Wagon 7 plank 37-075 1999? - SJ Claye 7 plank with coke rails 37-175 (Has 1999 and Bachmann TImes on label but released in 2000 under the Collectors Club??) Bachmann Collectors Club 2001 - Derbyshire Carriage & Wagon 7 plank 37-080W 2016 - Horlicks 7 plank 37-2016K You should think about joining the club. It is well worth it in my opinion.
  11. I'd be happy if they repeated the majority of the liveries of the original batch, only this time correctly.
  12. Something was clearly 'going on' well before the referendum when the LTM suspended pre-orders. Hence why I suspect a price rise was planned/needed before Brexit was even contemplated.
  13. Why should they justify the price increases? It is down to currency values. I doubt this rise is as a direct result of the weakening pound following the Brexit vote (although I'm sure that hit will be felt across the hobby eventually). More probably just the existing trend of price increases. Incidentally, can anyone recall a time when a manufacturer has lowered RRPs on the back of a strong pound? I cannot!
  14. I wonder if the LTM will have to ask for the difference for those who have already paid the lower price?
  15. Anybody know the size of the limited edition run?
  16. I think it is reasonable to assume that anyone not wanting to know would not be reading this thread and it is therefore ok to discuss the models. A welcome modern image loco although I think a West Coast class 47 would have been even better as Bachmann have not previously produced one unlike the 37.
  17. I'd have thought a re-run was inevitable but let's hope the price isn't hiked too much.
  18. I would say they are about the same, HIA possibly slightly heavier. Given the relative sizes that makes the HIA a heavy beast as others have observed.
  19. As some have already mentioned, I too was surprised at the relative short length of the HIA in comparison to an HHA. Never really noticed it on the prototype.
  20. Good stuff. Looks like you are one of the lucky ones. Hopefully their remaining stock will arrive soon.
  21. When I asked Hattons yesterday why they have only sent four of all six I've pre-ordered they said they had not yet received stock of 005 & 006?
  22. Were all 6 versions available? Some retailers appear to only have had the first 4 delivered for some reason? Thanks.
  23. From memory the following locos were from the original moulding which were criticised for cant rail shape, 'porch' over cab doors, undersized bonnet hatch doors etc: 37403 BR Green 37419 EWS 37408 Large Logo 37429 Regional Railways 37412 Transrail 37411 Large Logo 37671 Railfreight Distribution 37431 Intercity Mainline (sort of!) 37678 Railfreight Redstripe Think that is the complete list before the tooling changed to correct these errors.
