  1. I'm assuming the next payment invoices were not sent out Sunday/Monday? Not received mine at least.
  2. Yes an update would be useful please Dave, particularly when the next payments are expected to be due.
  3. Note also that the exhaust pipes appear to be grey (bare metal?) in the 1988 shot and at least one is in the 1990 shot.
  4. 401, 416 and 428 (401 & 416 were a liitle tatty by the time of this photo). 428 also carried an earlier version of this livery which was lined. I'd really like to see a Bachmann limited edition in these liveries (401 or 428 would be nice with nameplates, cast crests and cast EWS beastie logos). Back to topic, I'm more than happy with 425 in construction sector too for the time being.
  5. You have also got to consider how much the price will have increased by the time Dapol do another run...
  6. Same here although I have switiched my order to a Chiltern one. I am sure there will be further future DRS liveried releases where, I assume, these issues will be corrected. What a shame the DRS one wasn't right first time.
  7. The fixing of some of those nameplates is shocking. I'd have hoped Dapol would have learnt from the quality control issues experienced on the class 73. I've asked my retailer to check the nameplates on my pre-ordered model before they send it. If they are unable to supply a decent one I will cancel.
  8. And with 3 RF Metals (37507, 37514 and 37905) plus 2 RF Petroleum (37428 and 37706) the Construction sector does look a bit of a gap...
  9. Anglian version now available to pre-order at Rails of Sheffield (at full RRP).
  10. Hattons have a forthcoming limited edition 00 Class 47 805 in DRS livery on their website (product code 32-815RJ). I asked Hattons about the background to this model. Apparently each Bachmann regional rep will have a limited edition model this year. This one is for Ron Jones, the north west rep (hence the RJ in the product code). Hattons hope to provide details of the others in time.
  11. Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere but does anyone know the score regarding the DRS Limited Edition 47805 32-815RF that Hattons have on their site? Has this been commissioned by Hattons directly?
  12. Next batch of HIAs now in stock at Hattons.

    Dapol 08

Sorry if it has been mentioned earlier but what is the Collector's Club version?
  15. Yep, just ordered one too, couldn't resist. Should go nicely with previous Bachmann Ltd Eds 47 972 & 47 975 and my RTC coaches. I'd like a 47 971 'Robin Hood' in large logo too if you're listening KMC?
  16. Good research. Here's that link from April 1990 where it looks ex-works. https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenfanjohn/6807164239
  17. If the date on this picture - https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenfanjohn/6807164239/ is correct it was repainted in Intercity by April 1990.
  18. How long did this loco carry this livery? A quick browse of Flickr suggests it wasn't very long?
  19. Hi Dave Will the unumbered 92 have the Chunnel roundels and CE depot plaques?
  20. Personnally both options sound a little OTT to me and I wouldn't want either if they increased the cost of the model.
  21. Had my Paypal invoice for my expression of interest. I wondered however if there are any T&Cs associated with it (cannot find any on DJM website). There are some details earlier in this thread regarding number of payments, what happens if the project is cancelled etc., but are the terms formally written down for this initiative? Thanks.
  22. Next club model is a 20T NCB Brake Van. Announced at todays members day at the ELR.
  23. If it makes you feel any better I ordered online in January too and have not yet received them. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
  24. But it doesnt have supplementary badges as the picture seems to suggest...
