    Hi I’m looking for a small motor and gearbox for a 7mm project I was thinking something like mashima 16xx but what about gearbox can you buy these in o gauge for this motor or do you drill out axle holes of a oo gauge gearbox any advice/info would be appreciated. Cheers

    Hi Paul welcome to rmweb there has been lots of topics about this conversion use the search box on home page will bring most of the topics up and pictures,I always use super glue gel for whitemetal to plastic bonding Asda's own brand is good for diesel roof grill mesh I buy frying pan splatter guards from Poundland cut the mesh out its spot on for 7mm.

    Hi I keep reading about the dcc sound people are fitting to there 08's can someone tell me if anyone sells all the bits togeather i.e. Decoder,speaker so all I have to do is plug it in and away I go so to speak lol. Thank you col

    Hi I've never used isopropyl has a degreaser is it ok to use on metal and plastics also would you strip loco down to blacken the brass spacers or do them on loco. Cheers
