  1. Not much modelling going on here just now. Too much gardening and e-bike things happening. From a catch up on Ades layout Malmesbury I was interested in some coal yard items he had purchased and which he kindly forward the address for me . I have just ordered a set of 11 pieces they do look sweet. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124789816514?hash=item1d0e0d7cc2:g:BSwAAOSwCuBgSLkw John Chivers via EBay. 7mm Scale 3D printed Coal Yard Equipment O gauge Best
  2. Hi Ade, those 7mm coal yard details are looking very good. Who is it who is making them, I've not searched thinking it was simpler just to ask, please. I have most of them in metal form but they look nice and crisp. Best
  3. I liked the video Mike it does really show how much shunting interest [FUN] can be had from just a couple of points and some lengths of track. It has set my mind a thinking............................... Well done.
  4. How spooky is that I thought it was Mikes build until I read your post properly, well done Bruce, a true slice of life. Best

  8. Wow gorgeous George that slice of building is fantastic. Best
  9. No not yet George apart from dry fitting some random cut pieces just playing and getting the feel of the material.. I've been going for e-bike rides recently and planning on a new purchase after seeing BGmans e-bike interspersed with plenty of gardening but not much modelling if any. Best
  10. Oh yes please, another layout build to house the Magnificent Dapol 7. A build which I can watch its progress and the techniques shown. Best
  11. Ian you say Terrier # 7 does that mean you have actually got 7 of the beasties WOW. I'm not up to speed with these posts here so which layout will they be acting on, Hither Green TMD? Best

  13. Hello Miss Prism. Wishing you strength & the durability to overcome your Triple H. operation. Best
  14. Thanks for the back story on your e-bike BGman. Who are the contacts in the UK that you dealt with?. I can see that Amazon sold the original Cevi/Revi rolling units but not sure they are legal in the UK as they are 750WAtt but if nobody knows You're ok I suppose. Same with the road speed max here on the UK is 15mph but that bike is specked at 28mph. I must say it does look a beast I'd be obliged if you could PM me who I can contact to make some enquiries too as I fancy a build up. Cheers
  15. Wow O Wow Ade that coal wagon is fantastic, very realistic indeed. Best
  16. Hello BG, I too have an e-bike a Cube Acid which is very like your first bike you show on here above. I do like your new E-bike, what is i, I can't see a name. Mines a pedal assist bike is yours similar as it does look quite chunky. Just off to wander down the tracks of Worcestershire on two wheels. Best EDIT -- it's a Cheetah Cruiser. Am I right?
  17. I must go back and refresh my self with this wonderful layout. Best
  18. Back to changing over the point control to surface mount DCC Concepts SS point motors. Strip out the old push-me-pull-me wire in tube operating Blue point actuator parts. Now to wire up the hinge down PCB control board once I've cut out wire entry/exit holes. Each PCB controls 2 point motors.
  19. That station building go together is superb George. Best
  20. Spooky, I've been storing my stock in plastic cracker boxes but recently purchased some adjustable [break to length] drawer divides. Just now looking for a more suitable size box wood or plastic to make up my store trays. Not felt covered but good enough for me. Best
  21. Rod said>>> So, next job is painting the sides of the rails, followed by ballasting, then I have to find a new project!! How about a video of WKT al singing all dancing . . . . . . Lights - Camera - ACTION. Yes Please. Regards PS -- I used to use a "slip tube" to overcome minimum throw issues from servos on my RC aircraft throttles. I use 2 pieces of piano wire 1 piece to the servo the other to the throttle linkage. Then the 2 unconnected ends were slipped inside a small piece of silicone fuel tube and along side each other. Operation was as follows:- the servo moved and the throttle arm moved as the wire was gripped by the tube. When the throttle reached its stop the servo kept pushing and the wires slid past one another with no movement to the throttle link. Then when moving the servo back the throttle instantly moved the throttle arm because of the tube grip and would slip again when fully the other way. The main advantage of this system was that there was no dwell times when changing direction of throw and it was self adjusting.......... might be useful someday. 1000 Words or a picture
