      Why? Where in NR's rule book does it list beards as unacceptable? Have you asked the PR dept. for an explanation? May have case for discrimination.

  15. I am still alive and modelling, despite real life intervening. I'll update the Wickhan thread when there are some decent photos to post.

  16. I thought &mm to the Foot was a good scale to work in; then I spent today doing trackwork in 12" to the foot scale. Much more fun!

  22. Managed to find time to make a start on that project I've been hinting at since easter: an Ex-NER V1 brakevan converted into a colliery tool van.

  23. More track renewal tomorrow at the Tanfield Railway; it's better than going to the Gym!

  24. Night Shifts working with the High Output Ballast Cleaner. Best part? It's only a ten-minute drive from home!
